I've heard that there's a wins based escalator in his contract that, going into the 2017 season, could bring the money up to what was being rumored. Of course, that may be media guys floating something to cover their backsides that can't be disproven.
I'm excited to see Michigan/OSU in a couple of years with Harbaugh and Meyer coaching. What Harbaugh did at Stanford was bordering on miraculous and he's got a much better starting point at UM. All he needs is a QB, and you know they'll come running, to get UM back to be an upper echelon team. It's good for college football to have a mix of traditional powers and up and coming programs battling it out and Harbaugh should help put one of the traditional powers back up top.
