When was it decided that 5 from the basement would make it up to the A league? 4 sounds more reasonable, since im pretty sure the discussion was that the bottom 2 from the A league would move down. That leaves 6 up top.

Whether its 4 or 5 that move, it still creates a real battle from 4-9 in the B league (the top 3 have pretty well established themselves) for the remaining spots. Youve got 6 teams within a full game of each other and even at 2-6 the last place team still has a shot (albeit a small one) at making it.

A League -

Upper half of league stay in A league the following year
Lower half of league drop down to B league the following year

B League -

Upper half of league move up to A league the following year
Lower half of league stay in B league the following year

If we go to 12 teams per league, Heyboss and Team Ostrom move up to A league.
If we go have 22 teams. 10 in A League, 12 in B League.

We will have to agree on draft style and league settings (roster size, points)

standard is 25/10/10 yardage wise, 1 pt per reception, and 6 pt tds.

That was for first year only. We made the decision that going forward only the bottom 2 of A league would drop down. So, unless we have enough teams next year to warrant A league being 10 teams deep, only the top 2 from B league move up.

I saw where you mentioned that but I dont know if it was agreed to. I know we cant have an odd number of teams though so I guess two would be workable (even if it means Id miss out on moving up by 60 points if the season ended today unless I won the playoffs)

I'm not sure if we've come to a conclusion on that. I would recommend the champion and the 1st place finisher of the regular season (if different). If they're one and the same then the top 2 of the regular season.
