Right now we only have 11 teams. Proto can you get your friend to join? If we're stuck at 11 we'll have to have byes. Which isn't good.

edit: I have a 12'th team to join if it's needed.

Who changed the stats? It doesn't make sense at all. I prefer we keep the same ones we did last year. Why would you have wins and get rid of quality starts?

We've already drafted, so there is no re-changing the stats. (It's possible, but not really fair)

And I think when I re-activated the league it reset the stats to standard.

It's a long season. Plenty of time to tweak, although it will be tougher this year with 12 teams. There isn't much out there on the free-agent list, but some productive replacements will emerge. Besides, I just looked at your team. It's not bad at all.

Keep in mind, not only do you have aces pitching, but the Indians, Tigers, and Reds played in cold weather. That kept the ball from going anywhere.

I went 3-10, I only had 3 players though. Today I have a full lineup.

stupid question, i've used yahoo for the past 10 years of my fantasy baseball so espn is a little different. How do you put someone on the DL to open up a roster spot. i have howard that i'd like to stash on the DL but when i click on him there is no move option to the DL. I like a lot of the research and things that espn has, but the drag and drop feature is so much easier on yahoo.

There's a "Manage DL" option at the top of your My Team page. It's an unnecessary extra step that ESPN added for no discernible reason.

I wouldn't. Peavy is washed up, Marmol is erratic, Soriano is on the decline, but still alright.

Peavy isn't close to washed up. He's had some injury problems, but he put up his 2nd best K/BB ratio of his career last year. His BABIP (batting average on balls in play) was the worst since his rookie year. His ERA was much worse than his peripherals last season. That tends to happen when you pitch for a bad defensive team.

The concern with Peavy is durability as he hasn't started more than 18 games the last 3 seasons.

And no, I wouldn't do that trade.
