If you want to talk ASUN smack or ramble ad nauseum about your favorite pro or major college teams, this is the place to let it rip.

JMU, New Hampshire, Elon, VMI, Hofstra, William & Mary, Wofford, Vermont, and Delaware presidents/superintendent announce that they have "...chosen not to offer additional 'cost of attendance' payments to student-athletes at this time."
Well than I think it's probably safe to say JMU is no longer a threat to move to FBS
Idk i think they might be a good fit for the Sunbelt. A like minded university that doesn't have too much money. That way you avoid any different or offensive ideas and any unfairness.

I think JMU has already rebuffed the SunBelt.

JMU has made it clear they consider themselves to be too good for the SBC. All indications are their first choiced would be the MAC, and there may be one or more openings soon considering the financial straits of Akron and some others.

This was from yesterday:

BYU, Army, Notre Dame, Cincinnati & UConn will count toward Big 10’s requirement of playing 1 non-league Power 5 opponent.

A bunch of small, snooty private schools would never let a giant public into their club.

"CCU officials say new stadium could cost more than $25 million"
http://wbtw.com/2015/10/01/ccu-official ... 5-million/
The Brooks stadium sits on a pretty constrained footprint, so you got 544 going across the back, you’ve got the scoreboard across the ends. We need an architect to come in and tell us what we can do, how can we squeeze in the number of seats that we need, then we’ll find out what the costs are going to be,” said Bowie.

In contrast, not in conjunction

The costs isn't going to be the major problem, it is going to be putting butts in those seats. Don't see it happening.

There is a phrase used multiple times in the article....... ¨will need the State´s permission¨. Maybe that will turn out to be a mere formality, but I´m not so sure. In this political and economic climate, with a state legislature no doubt stacked with S Carolina and Clemson alumni who are not likely to be impressed that the beach chickens will be playing in the SBC instead of the BSC? We shall see.

You think Costal might be the strong ally we need for a Sunbelt invite?

Ha, speculation..... so next they fight to add anyone other than us and settle on Charleston Southern. Pretty soon we've flooded Europe....Ooops I meant SBC with so many Big South Refugees that they have no choice but to add us!! I like this plan!!
