Durant is going to be tough to stop for any team. But UNC has Wright to throw at him which is going to be a tough matchup for him. It will be a good game either way -- I have Texas taking them out, though.

While watching this last night, it reminded me of the '94 tourney where UNC & Liberty locked up in the first round. LU pulls it really close, then UNC goes on a run to win by 20 or so. Then, UNC loses to BC in the second round (thanks to Abrams & his tackle of Phelps that put him out of the game). I hope there is no repeat of that this year.

Well it is not even Sunday yet and I have lost 3 sweet 16 teams in OT (Wash St was 2OT). There is such a fine line between winning it all and going out early. Just ask Ohio St! Florida went to the finals a few years ago with Mike Miller and they beat Butler at the buzzer in the second round that year (coach Meyer was an assistant at Bulter that year).

You'd be happy to know Smooth that I have VA all the way in the elite-8 but eventually losing to Ohio St. But Tennessee's offensive explosion has me worried.

tough loss for the hoos, but a great season. picked to finish eight in the ACC nad tied for 1st. in the big dance for the 1st time since 2001. a great 2-year turnaround under coach leitao. BTW......where is atrain running his worthless smack?

probably hiding. I wanted the heels to play the steers and queers in the sweet 16 (Texas Longhorns). Oh well the road has gotten somewhat easy to the final four with texas losing.

Obviously you have not seen Georgetown play this year. They are VERY good!

I don't think USC is any easier than Texas. Especially the way they handled Texas yesterday.

USC played terrific yesterday, but I don't see them making it our of their region. They caught UT playing absolutely horrendous and took full advantage. I don't see the Trojans playing that well again in the tourney.

The reason Texas looked so bad is because USC made them look bad. Give them some credit. It is not like Texas didn't know what was at stake. USC is good and I had them beating Texas and truthfully they scare me for UNC but I still have UNC winning the game and going out in the next round to Georgetown.

In answer to your question, SCAR, I was away on Spring Break with our tennis teams travelling. Nice to know I'm missed

Anyway, I picked SIU to beat VT-they did it before, and I was sure they'd do it again. I almost picked Ill. to beat Tech in the first round, but in the end I went with the Hokies. I also picked Tenn. over UVA. Too bad Maryland and VCU didn't go further, I had picked both of them to be in the Sweet 16. Vandy made it, which is good for me b/c I picked them to get in the Sweet 16 to. Anyway, my final selection was UCLA over UNC for the title.

A Train, I think it was Smoothie that asked about you. Since you guys have that UVA/VT thing going. I had both teams out by sweet 16. I had 4 PAC 10 teams in the sweet 16 and 3 made it. Washington ST was a double OT game. I also had UNLV in the sweet 16. It pays to stay up late and watch Fox Sports. I had seen those teams enough to realize the PAC 10 may have been better than the ACC this season.

Anyway Smoothie, I agree with you. The ACC has been a disappointment in the tourney. Especially after getting 7 teams in.
