If you want to talk ASUN smack or ramble ad nauseum about your favorite pro or major college teams, this is the place to let it rip.

WBB is looking at a host of new rules changes including four quarters, no more 1-and-1 (two shots after fifth foul in each quarter), four timeouts per game total with two that don't carry over to the second half (I'd rather see only one use-it-or-lose-it TO), and advancement of inbounds when under a minute in fourth quarter.

Vote happens next month.

I'm with you on the 1 'use it or lose it' TO
Don't like the Advancement rule
Doing away with 1 and 1 will cut down some of the physical play they've tried to address for years
Having Quarters instead of halves also gives you 'extra' Time Outs

I've never understood the 1 and 1 to begin with. In certain situation it could benefit the defense more for not following the rules because of it. Same with this hack-a-whoever is terrible at free throws you see in the NBA, but no one ever looks at ti that way. Don't see why any rule should be in place that can be exploited to benefit a team when the intent is to punish them. Which makes it even more illogical why this hack-a-terrible FT shooter is illegal in the last two minutes of a game. So it's bad in the last two minutes but acceptable strategy for 46?
