If you want to talk ASUN smack or ramble ad nauseum about your favorite pro or major college teams, this is the place to let it rip.

I'm working on becoming more readable by using grammar and proper punctuation. Like I said elsewhere, if you just want to be a bully to me I get it, but you'd think someone of your age and life experience would find better things to do

Said the government worker............ I am like one of the people in your waiting room waiting for HOURS to see you!! hA!!! Besides, no office are open today!~

I am not sure how using your own words to validate your own posts is being a bully. If I wanted to bully you, which I don't, you would certainly have to buckle up Buttercup. Remember, there is only 1 of us who has resorted to personal attacks against the other. And that ain't me.

So lets look at this objectively:
You criticize ballcoach for his lack of reading comprehension
It gets pointed out that your sentence structure is, less than ideal
It gets pointed out that you like to, using your own words, type in stream of consciousness
You attack someone for quoting you

So let me point out one last time. I do not want to bully you. I am NOT bullying you. I do not use Personal Attacks against you, and have warned you that if you resort to that again, I will reciprocate. My suggestion is learn to laugh at yourself, don't take this or yourself so seriously and ENJOY the messiness that is life. And if all else fails, you can always hit IGNORE.

If college basketball players can go from handling 30-40 games to sometimes 82 or more games in the NBA, baseball players sure as heck can handle it with as little as they often end up doing during games.

The commissioner said that moving to 154 games may be an option.

For the last several years I have felt that MLB has reached a point of diminishing returns. The season IS too long. It basically, and ironically, runs from April Fools Day to Election Day. I'm not really sure starting any later is an issue, except for the weather in the NE,must define toy ending early would be beneficial. Once football starts baseball interest just takes a nose dive, unless your team is in the playoffs.( As a Cubs fan.....well I am done with the season around the All Star break :D .). Shortening a season by 8 games shouldn't terribly affect gate revenue. It mean you are basically losing 4 games at home. Teams can easily make that revenue up by either going to season long variable pricing (charge more for better games) or tacking on as much as $1 per ticket for the other games. Same with concessions. TV revenue shouldn't be affected because the people who are going to watch, mare going to watch. In fact it could be argued that you will gain viewership as fans actually remain interested going into September and October.
Baseball needs to do something. And this would be a good start

College baseball season should have nothing to do with MiLB or MLB. Even though many college players are drafted, NCAA baseball should remain college baseball, not a farm system for the professional ranks.
NCAA does need to eliminate February baseball. LU has a 1 p.m. game today. With the weather in Lynchburg, there no way they should be playing. If I were the coach, I doubt if I'd practice outside today, much less play a game. Playing in 30 degree weather is not good for pitcher's arms, nor position player's arms/legs.

As for correct grammar, this is a sport's message board, not an English Class.

Umm, I don't see people in my office. They just wait days, weeks and months on end to see if I'm going to give them a check, say they don't deserve a check, continue their check or stop their check. While they're waiting I'm trying to decipher the family doctor's writing (there is no Rosetta Stone for their combination of heiroglyphics, cuneiform and chicken scratch), scanning through literally hundreds of pages of records from the VA and DOD medical facilities, taking into consideration their written statements of what they can or cannot do, while trying to figure out what their past work was and how to match it up to a job listed in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, something the Department of Labor hasn't updated since, Stagecoach Wagon Driver was an occupation. Once that is done, I then have to plug in a bunch of codes to see if they have transferrable skills. Oh, and then there are the kiddie cases.

Truthfully, my job is pretty interesting. Every case is different. The mental health records of some people are fascinating. It also makes you think and question some things.

Oh yeah...baseball season needs to be shortened.

(See. I made it topic related!)
The last one. You have to pass through security to get into my office, and you'll need to make an appointment beforehand.

A baseball game takes 9 innings, so at roughly 10-20 minutes an inning, that's 1 1/2 to 3 hours.
