Meanwhile LU has a KenPom ranking of 298 and 60 losses in the last 3 years

Accounts vary. The thread also stated WHY he may not have been interested or come even he was
But lets just celebrate the fact we have the opportunity to see this kid play live

I just did the Charlotte @ Asheville game on Sunday on the American Sports Network. Charlotte won on a buzzer beater in OT. It was quite a game. Rowsey was solid but the story that day was the 7 footer Roberts blocking 10 shots and scoring 10 points for Asheville. Rowsey did have 27 that day but a crucial turnover with 6 seconds left in regulation with the score tied.

I can tell you that there was 0 interest from Rowsey in going to VMI or Liberty based on what sources were telling me over the weekend. They said, get to know the kid and you will understand that those schools weren't a good fit. He seems like a great kid. He is fun to watch and is a real scoring machine. He couldn't play that way everywhere IMO though. Nick McDevitt gives him lots of freedom. I will say that this season he hasn't taken a lot of bad shots and as a result his shooting percentage is really high for a volume shooter like him.

He is on a very long list of players that I have really mis judged their talents and how they would translate to the D1 level.

I will agree to the second part...as to the first part, really only Andrew and the coaches at Liberty know exactly what words were said in any interaction that took place between the parties during his recruiting process. Accounts will vary as you said PH, but we may never know just what went down

In regards to #3, VMI isn't going to appeal to a whole lot of kids.
