Very good final today. Close, competitive match by both teams, but Germany was more talented. Argentina was too dependent on Messi to generate chances.

Argentina had about 3 great looks and should have converted at least 1 of those. Not having Di Maria to finish hurt them. Would have loved to see Max come in to help but there were no more subs.
Oh well. Germany was the better team

Argentina had better chances but Germany played the better game. They deserved to win, and I'm so glad the shootout was avoided.
