This guy is going to run for 1500 yards this year and dominate D2. The guys a good player and when you take one from the highest level down to this level - it's like a man amongst boys...

I would definately take you up on the 1500 yard prediction. Sims really is not that good a runner. Whether he puts up big numbers as a passer or not depends on a lot of factors, but it is far from a given. We have seen ourselves at LU that FBS transfers do NOT always dominate at a lower level.

Yeah - maybe 1500 is too much;) point is that I think he will do very well. How many games do they play in D2?

After reading the twitter account of Phillip Sims I understand why he doesn't belong at a real school. Thank GOD he didn't come to LU.

Glad someone else thinks that. He has earned his reputation and he is in no way a player we need. Proto if you think hes going to run for 1500 you havent watched him play ha. Hes not a good runner at all!

Correct. The plus side is that because D2 does not have the 5 year rule like D1, he can still play 2 more years. By that time however, even if he plays really well and shows possible NFL talent, some teams will not be interested becaeuse of his age.
