If you want to talk ASUN smack or ramble ad nauseum about your favorite pro or major college teams, this is the place to let it rip.

We've got a super-talented OF in Tyler Colvin who will probably make the 25 man, but will rot on the bench for the first month and then they will send him to Iowa. The kid put on 25 lbs of muscle over the winter and is flat-out raking the ball this spring (.455 avg).

Anyone else's organization do things like this, or is this what makes my team the Cubs?

see Kansas City, Pittsburgh, and Washington haha

though to be honest the Nationals look good, the Pirates are young and will trade all their talent away by the All-Star Break and Kansas City is still going to be Kansas City

well compared to the other 2 i mentioned the Nats look like they may actually make noise this year... though they are still on the 5 year plan before they actually start doing anything notable.... the will have some good guys this year, and will deff be building for the next couple years

Thread revival time. The first Red Sox spring training game is today against the Rays here in Fort Myers. Temps should be in the mid 80's. I'll be sitting in the $5 lawn section behind the bullpen (you know, the CheapSeats). I love living here this time of year.

One of my former students went 1-2 in that game! I'm pulling for Ty Morrison to make it to AAA this year so I can see him play in Norfolk!

By the way, his brother (Mike) was the 2010 NCAA decathlon champion at Cal and his sister (Kaleigh) is an all-conference track athlete at Hawaii. Crazy genes in that family!
