I've got some native american blood in me, I have always been an advocate for native american rights, and an advocate and for education on the historical plight and near genocidal type attempts to eliminate the native american race in this country. I for one find the call to change the name justified, although blown completely out of proportion. Perhaps I am just more thick skinned or have a bigger pair of onions than all these softies out there though. Of course, on the other hand, given how much the Redskins have sucked up until this year, it's hard to blame the native americans for being offended by the name.
