Do any of our teams have a JV team? Just from talking to people back home I've found out the D3 Methodist has a JV football team and D2 Pfeiffer has a JV baseball team. It seems odd to me that these smaller schools would have JVs and we wouldn't.

The reason you see a lot of D2 and D3 schools with JV programs is that these kids are paying to go to school anyway, so if you tell them they have the option of staying in school and playing on a JV team, or leaving the school to play somewhere else, the school is going to take their money and keep them in the school. They may never be good enough to make the "varsity" team, but they are in school, still playing a sport they love.
