I didn't see the game and don't claim to know anything about the game today.

What I do know is that Klinnsman is trying to overhaul the game at the youth level. Anyone with half a brain that follows the sport knows we aren't playing for 2014 right now. We're completely preparing for 2018.

There were more away fans at the stadium, and what you're seeing is practice #5 of a 180 degree turn in terms of scheme and mentality. If this were a club with an offseason to prepare, maybe I'd see it differently.

Not to mention that Ecuador is not as bad as you make them out to be. The US controlled that game, but probably the hardest thing they have to overcome is the lack of any world-class goal-scorers or technical finishers. That's always been our biggest problem. But the progress we're making in other areas has been positive.
