Starting with Z, all they could sign was vet min guys.

They still retain the rights to Joel Anthony, who I expect they will sign as a backup C.

Next, will be another guard, either a PG or backup SG.

For sure he makes them better. He fills that big hole in the middle and gives them another roll player that everyone says they need. You know until next year until they can sign Dwight Howard
ban this poster now :D

i kid...this won't happen, its not possible...one he won't be a free agent until after the 2011-2012 season, and two there is no way the heat will have the money for that...with that said as a Magic fan I am pretty scared that dwight will leave unless the magic can somehow get more flexibility by the end of 2011-2012..but then again that is when rashard's contract ends too I believe..so we shall see

Miami also has a few 2nd round draft picks and free agents on their summer league roster that could end up on the regular season roster...Dexter Pittman will likely make the team to add depth in the post. Jarvis Varnado could possibly do the same. Jon Scheyer, Kenny Hasbrouk, and Pat Beverley could provide depth in the guard spots. I don't know when De'Sean Butler will be able to play again due to his injury, but I'm guessing the Heat won't let him get away.

I'm guessing at least two or more of those guys will make the roster.

The scary part is Oklahoma City will have enough money to sign two max guys in '11-'12 if they can move Jeff Green. They have several tradeable players in Westbrook, Harden and Ibaka to work in a sign-and-trade, too.

The chance to play with Durant would be hard to pass up if I'm Dwight Howard or Chris Paul.

That trio would truly be awesome. Unlike the current Miami group, you have diverse skills, with a true post, a true PG and a true do-everything superstar in the making.

IF Westbrook follows up with another season like this past one, he will be considered one of the elite guards in the league and they will not need to add a high dollar replacement.

Which is interesting. Would you rather have:

Paul, Durant and Dwight

or

Paul, Amar'e and Carmello?

Easy choice... Paul, Durant, and Dwight

Although if Westbrook can build on last season I might take Westbrook, Durant, and Dwight.

I would at least wait to see them play a few games together before you knock too hard on LBJ, Wade, and Bosh. But Paul D&D would make for a team that could compete with anyone.

They'd better not. He'll be a stud on some NBA roster. What a ticker on that kid.

He's also very close with a guy that was in my dorm. Backed him up on the team in high school. So there's that too.

He's done well with the recruits coming in.
