They keep putting people like this on stage http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/07/1 ... 47031.html

and I'll keep watching.

Seriously one of the better awards shows as it pertains to athletes and stars....the awards are meaningless but it's always entertaining

Best line of the night...on speaking about the ridiculously long tennis match a few months ago:

"That match lasted so long -- Greg Oden took a picture of it and sent it to his girlfriend"

That was brilliant....and after a few gasps from the joke he said "it's ok, the proceeds of that joke went to the boys and girls club" lol

Actually the line was about how long the match was, not how long it lasted. The difference is has no effect on the primary meaning but on crucial in the double entendre.

I'm up here in Alaska with Athletes In Action. AIA plays a team from the Kenai area, which is the team that Garrett Wittels is on. Guy is a total tool bag. He's hitting about .120 and he hit about .050 against us. Every time he got out he tossed his bat, dropped as many 4 letter words you can possibly throw down, then pout back to the dougout. He walks around like he owns the place, and he's one of the worse hitters in the league. Every time his name is mentioned I give a big time  and move on.
New Coach

He's done well with the recruits coming in.
