Davis Withdraws from Virginia Junior Receiver Played in 16 Games as a Cav
Charlottesville, VA Virginia junior wide receiver Theirrien ³Bud² Davis
has withdrawn from the University for personal reasons and is no longer a
member of the Cavalier football team. A native of Bowie, Md., Davis played
in 16 games during the past two seasons, including all 12 contests last
year. He had three receptions totaling 54 yards in his career. He also
returned two kickoffs for 44 yards and rushed once for 14 yards.
Virginia opens its 2006 Saturday at Pittsburgh. Kickoff is scheduled for 7
p.m.
