Those of you who have known Woodson for the past few years have heard of this kid. I actually called a couple of his games back when he was a Frosh at Herndon High in Northern VA when I worked at Comcast. He was a McD All-American this season and was headed to Oklahoma with Kelvin Sampson. Liberty assistant Jason Eaker has a relationship with Scottie due to him being recruited while Jason was still at Okl. Scottie didn't want to follow Kelvin Sampson to IU which has yet another Liberty connection (Coach Jeff Meyer). Me and former Liberty guard Jason Allison (VMI assistant coach) watched him play in the VHSL state semi finals. Throw in Woodson and me and this kid has definite Liberty connections and is a really, really, really driven and hard worker. I know it may hurt some of you guys to pull for a Philly team (Sly, GMTM) but when you see Scottie in the Navy Blue playing in the Big East, you can at least say you have a 6 degrees of seperation thing going on

'Nova signs McDonald's All-American Reynolds
VILLANOVA, Pa. — McDonald's All-American Scottie Reynolds, a 6-foot-1 guard from Virginia, will attend Villanova in the fall, school officials announced Thursday.
Reynolds averaged 28.4 points, 4.5 assists and four steals and led Herndon to a 26-4 record last season. He was a three-time Associated Press first-team All-State pick and was the Class AAA player of the year as a senior.
"We are very fortunate to have a player of Scottie's caliber drop into our laps," said Villanova coach Jay Wright, who compared Reynolds to his outstanding trio of guards last year, Randy Foye, Allan Ray and Kyle Lowry.
"He can create his own shot, create shots for others and score," Wright said.
Reynolds is the fifth player to join this year's recruiting class for the Wildcats.
