Lets be honest with ourselves here...

1. USF is on the verge of a meltdown that equates with the magnitude of Chernobyl. oh wait this just in... they just loss to a sub par florida state team. so much for matt ryan's heisman shoe in.

2. UCONN isn't bad they took smoothie's boys down to the wire and they just beat rutgers.

3. I wouldn't call the Big East over rated. you forget that (as much as i hate to admit) wvu beat UGA in a bowl game not to long ago.

4. IMO and all the other writers and experts opinions. the SEC is by far hands down the strongest confrence out there. The big east is moving up. sure. but when at one point you had... 9 of the 12 teams Ranked in the top 25.

5. This is the year of the upset. crap happens. teams get beat. when was the last time you saw ND at 1-8 on the season and Losing to NAVY?

Ohio State needs to lose.

If they walk in to the Championship game with the crap they put on the field, I will be ticked.

I hate LSU, but they are probably one of the best teams in the nation right now, and Oregon needs some serious consideration as one of the top 2 or 3 teams. And Kansas needs to be put in the top 5, and stay there, until they lose. They have proven by now that they are legit, and need some more respect.

There is only one possible way ohio state loses. and thats in the big house at michigan. i hate to admit it but it looks like they will pull it out. KU should and i mean SHOULD be ranked behind OSU. I hate LSU too. They are over rated even though they have one of the best defenses in the counrty. The Ducks just proved themelves tonight. that loss to call still hurts them though. honestly. i'd love to see hawaii up there as well but we all know since the system is flawed that the weaker confrences get messed over in the end. can we please please please just go to a playoff system? it works for FCS why can't it work for FBS? i mean what is the problem with it? can anyone explain?

see...here is my thing...in my opinion a playoff system will have better ratings the bowl games...better ratings equal higher prices for ads which makes more money....you do some revenue sharing and work out a good system...everybody could win if they put it together right....just my opinion of course

what do a like better...a bunch of meaningless bowl games or march madness....oh yeah...march madness...they could get rid of the bowl stystem and i think the majority of america wouldn't think twice about it

Just call the semi-final games in a tournament the "Orange Bowl" or the "Fiesta Bowl" and have it played there as a neutral site, that way you incorporate the bowls.

How would a playoff not guarantee the best team getting in the championship???

A team would have to play atleast one team that is in the same realm of talent and strength.....

If Michigan pulls the impossible and beats an overrated OSU team, and Kansas falls.......you might see Michigan in the National Championship
