Hey how long has this site been up for? Is it pretty new?
By the way, it looks as though you guys have a lot of good info on the Lax team. Thanks for your support!

Thanks a lot. Ok, now tell me the truth, were you classic laxers as rowdy as I've always heard?

The stories are very true. We were in fights almost every week with the Teams we played. The School even called our coach in one time and said they would shut the team down because Liberty did not think we were a good representation of the University.
I was in a lot of fights and toke great pride in beating the crap out of people. We did not win a lot of games but we sure could fight. Jeff Rogers, Steve Schiendler, Scott Evens and some kid named Bobby from Florida were always getting into fights. We had this Goalie from Michigan named Ralph that was also a tough Guy. Our first season Ralph beat the daylights out of a few kids. Your old Coach Westy was always too serious about playing the game and was one of the guys on the Team that always was a sportsman and walked away from Trouble. But once at VCU in Richmond a Guy hit Westy's best friend Doug Chastain Known as Chezty from behind and Westy took that famous wooden Pole of his and beat that kid silly with it. Those were some great times but I do regret that we did not do a better job of representing the University and the Lord. The positive thing from that is for the most part we are all very close in regards to the Guys who played in the 80's. Good luck to you Kansas this upcoming season.
