Flames Graduate Assistant Position Available
Head wrestling coach Jesse Casto has announced an open graduate assistant position for the program.

Lynchburg, Va.

The Liberty University wrestling team is searching for a graduate assistant, beginning with the 2008-09 season. The graduate program is a two-year commitment to the wrestling program. Liberty University offers 29 master’s degree programs including education and a MBA degree.

Full tuition coverage, along with a stipend for living expense included. Job responsibilities include training with the team, traveling along with assistance in the administering of the program.

Someone on here must love wrestling and want/need graduate school paid for (and a stipend for living expenses). Plus, think about all of the great tournaments you would get to go see.

I would suspect one of our current senior wrestlers who transferred in would be the likely candidates.

We don't have any seniors this year as Christian has been given another year of eligibility.

I'm sure there are lot's of dedicated christian wrestlers at secular universities who have finished their eligibility and would love the opportunity to keep working out and get a start in coaching and a graduate degree on our dime. I'm betting they get some really outstanding applicants.

if i wasn't almost done with mine, id be tempted...lol

on the other hand, i had an offer from a 20-2 pro fighter to move dwn to FL and train with him and the bjj world cup black belt champ he's got living with him, so i'd have to probably take that one over the Lu one... *sigh* its a rough life.
