We are up 17-15 over GMU but the final match is vs the #16 rated wrestler in the country. Doesn't look too good right now but hoping for a big upset to pull this thing out.

We lost 19-18 to GMU. Oh well, next up UNC Greensboro in the Vines

that doesn't appear to be an AWFUL loss, though I don't know how good their program is at this point. You can't pin it on one guy- but that fall at 174 hurts. Even a major decision means we win. :( Oh well.

am sure we'll go thru some growing pains- but Coach is doing a real nice job putting this team on the right track.

We could have used Christian Smith. Where the heck is he? He is supposed to be our #1 guy. I hope that he didn't get kicked out.

We were only down 5-4 when that fall happened. Their guy was def better but 174 should have been a minor maybe major at worst.

Also 157 we could have won with another 15 20 seconds

165 Porter was going for back points to make it 16-1 (TF) and their guy got a reversal instead plus 2 backs to make it a major as opposed to the tf.

149 was a fun match to watch. Bucher was in good position to get a take down with 5 seconds left

Boy I love watching wrestling

that's the way these matches go- one or two different decisions or even POINTS in an individual match and the whole thing turns.

reading your description really makes me wish I could be down there to see it.

thanks for the report! Keep 'em coming

Except I couldnt help you on the second. Match started at 9PM, and hall maating plus hall mtg prep kills me. Plus the 730 started at like 745 so there was no way.

Also, schwentysevenheif (Possible Mrs. Schfourteenteen) loves Liberty wrestling now. (Insert funny joke) here (ha ha) Now I havent tried the "Hey theres good wrestling in NJ and PA, so we should live there" thing, but were making progress

THE KNOKRETE KIDS!!!! They were so good.
But near me nothing beats the old PBurg Del Val rivalry.

Speaking of which, TJ Mitchel(125) wrestled for Raritan, loser to my Terriers in the 2006 State finals
