yeah, the ladies have 40 minutes of time to put their opponents away. having to wait until the last minute is merely a case of lack of execution catching up to them.

wrestling you get 6 min (HS) 7 (college) to win and its much more complicated than simply throwing a ball through a hoop. oh yeah, and there aren't 4 other people to help get it done... it just comes down to the guy on the mat and the other guy standing across from him.

I am a lady and will agree on wrestling's superiority Even when I lived six hours away I would travel home at least once a month to watch my brother wrestle in weekend tournaments. There are few sports (maybe football) I would rather watch!

and just for the record, i think there are few sports that prepare guys better for life than wrestling. above all it teaches mental toughness and perseverance. two qualities which im afraid are sadly lacking in the average person these days.

matshark....fan00 IS single. I will answer for her and she is truly a wrestling crazy. Between football and wrestling..she could definitely COACH either. Wrestling is our family's thing. I can keep up with the wrestling talk...the football though, i'm lost.
