Here is the place for all other LU sponsored sports. Come here to post about: Men's/Women's Cross Country, Men's Golf, Men's/Women's Soccer, Men's/Women's Tennis, Men's/Women's Track & Field, Women's Lacrosse, Women's Swimming & Dive, Women's Volleyball
Forgot about this, but I was made aware of something last night.
At the last home game, the LUnatics along with some others were singing the National Anthem. I was one of them. There had been a rumor going around that we sang in an attempt to mess up the girl singing, who was about 5 feet away from us. That is not true whatsoever. First, some us (not me) were friends with that girl. She was talking with us before the introductions, and those of us who knew her seemed very happy for her (makes sense). Second, we would not do anything purposefully in order to make our school look bad. Thats why we are here at the games, to support Liberty. Third, that would be completly disrespectful to our country. We will not make a mockery of our National Anthem.

hahahahahaha just kidding people chill out!!!!!!!!!!!!!
too soon?
Idk I just dont like hearing that other people have decided that, because 2 guys have said "the s word" this season (one game each), one guy says shut up 6 games ago and one guy says testicle, that every thing we do is a mockery of something, or that we should be ashamed to be here at LU.

That loud canadian was dubbed "Dane Cook" by the VMI fans last night. it was quite hilarious.
Yeah I know yall were not trying to make fun of the National Anthem but some of you are so bad it seems that way not to mention it's not very respectful to the person singing it (if it was a band I really wouldnt care as much) if yall want to do your own little chant at the end for the last 2 words or something like some schools be my guest but I know how much guts it takes for someone to get in front of thousands of people to sing and when they hear that it only makes it worse....but yall know now so it's over with and not a big deal now
As far as the Keydets not coming, it's no longer mandatory for them to come, I dont know why, there was no better home court advantage then when they are all there and chanting "LIBERTY GIRLS ARE EASY EASY, LIBERTY GIRLS ARE EASY EASY" while pointing at some in particular....that actually is one of my favorite moments in college sports, that out does the Kamron Krazies when I was there for the Maryland game

VERY TRUE
Im guessing we wont do it again, but I was actually bothered by people talking about how we were disrespectful without talking to any of us about it. Its good to know there are people who will actually talk to us before passing judgment.
Yea, VMI put a white piece of what looked like duct tape on the floor maybe 9 inches long. Ohman really looked like was in pain after the splinter, and I just wonder how long the splinter was that he took for the team. Does anyone know if he played the rest of the game with the splinter, or did someone pull it out for him?
I was finally sitting close enough to hear the LU cheers:
"He's a fresh-man"
"He's a walk-on"
"Ty-ler Bak-er"
"ETSU"
"Ter-ry Fal-well"
"If Cider hit the books any harder, they'd press charges"--Lefty
"When you’re right you’re right"--Purple
"I shall not participate in many discussions..." --Fumble (1961-2009), RIP

I pray to God that you're joking.
Is this mercy-killing or cross-pollenation?
Only the strawberry knows.

Yeah, well, you're not a real doctor.
Actually I have a B.A. from Midwestern State University and an M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from North Texas State University with a dual area of emphasis in clinical and behavioral medicine. So there.
But back on topic, I think is is a enormous boost to the Flames with both Ohman and Anderson stepping it up. Alex can't do it all you know, get real.

Not in the slightest bit but after reading some of your stances in previous threads I already know where you'll be on this topic so no need to go further

I see HMO's point, but disagree with it. Since when can only one person sing the National Anthem at a sporting event? What's next, are they going to tell us that us swaying back and forth during the National Anthem is disrespectful too?
no and I'll correct anyone who says that you cant sway...but you just cant sing it b/c while you actually may be trying there are idiots around you that werent and those were the ones that were approached
maybe everyone should spend 30 days in the military or at least go to boot camp
sway away my friend sway away....lord knows i get enough texts when one of you jackals needs some help with an altercation add another one for someone approaching you for swaying!

Only two of us have your number, and you were the one that gave it to me.
I think it sounds cooler when everyone is singing as opposed to just one person.
for the love you stay out of every sticky topic but choose to come into this one
