We're lacking home games these past few seasons it seems...eesh. And it looks like at least three teams next season will be facing defending national champions...VBall, MBB, and I've been sworn to secrecy about the other team for the moment.

George Washington and App State are the other two schools invited to the Hokie Invite. Virginia Tech returns 9 players and their head coach just left for a position at Notre Dame.

Not that they're on our schedule THIS year, but posts on Presby's board indicates they are still looking for a HC for their program- getting late in the summer to STILL have a vacancy.

Schedule Update: ETSU now comes to Lynchburg (according to the site) and we're no longer in UMBC's tourney, but will be playing in the Army of One Invite against Army, Navy, and El Cid of the Southern Conference.

Now that's a tourney where we are out of place. But I guess our name and school colors qualify us to visit West Point.

That...or maybe they wanted to invite VMI until they realized that the Keydets still have no female sports on courts (volleyball, basketball or tennis).

Defending National Champs on a schedule. We all know which coach ISN'T scheduling anyone tough.
(of course, Corvallis, Oregon would be a reach, but Chapel Hill sure wouldn't)
