13th out of 29 teams not to bad. Good job Guys.

But a lesson in wrestling is that if you lose early in tournaments it only gets tougher to place.

Seems like we may have taken a step back this year. I have not seen them wrestle this year yet but...
If anyone has seen them I would like to know some thoughts on this.

Still 13th is respectable at a tournament like this one. I'm sure they expected more but 2nd year of competing and last year was well beyond expectations I'm quite sure.

I will have to see the boxscore when it is posted to see what calibre of competition we were up against in the Reno tournament to give an opinion on that tourny. I think that we are having a descent year but it doesn't seem we are much better than last year's team being our second year. Could there be some injuries effecting our performance.

It wasn't bad competition Some really high quality some not so greats as always in an event like this one.
There always has to be small fish for the big fish to beat up!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Wrestling over breaks tends to slip between the cracks.

Sly when your from Pennsylvania which is Wrestling heaven (in my most humble opinion) it never slips through the cracks!

The competition seems to be right on our level which is okay. Our performance could have been better but for a second year program very respectable. Last year we did much better but maybe not one of our better performances.

SteveWalt is right, and I am embarrassed that I haven't spent the time keeping up with these guys this season.

I did email coach with some questions about the season/middle weight classes, but no answer as of yet.

What's up with Harner? I don't believe he wrestled and no mention of hurt that I could see?
