LU finishes in a very respectable 5th out of 29 teams.

Could've been third or knocking on second if Sam had been eligible and FDU hadn't been bitter...but, if LU can recruit some depth, Sam will carry on the McDougal mantle for another couple years. Here's to hoping for recruitment of continued depth in the cast to make a run at a team crown in the next couple of years and establish a distance program of National renown.

The team's score would have been 79 if Sammy had been there and placed 2nd. That would have left them in 4th. UVA did get into nationals in that same place, so LU definetly would have been going to Indiana as a team, but you do what you can with what you've got. It will be fun to see the team continue to grow in the next few years.

On a completely unrelated note, when are the SIDs going to take another picture of Josh? They keep recycling the same 3 photos over and over. For crying out loud...send me to Terre Haute next week and I will get some new shots for you!
