It was quite a ride. But more importantly than the sweep streak is the win streak. And that remains firmly intact.

and 28-30 is nothing to sneeze at.
looks like it stung a bit as the ladies reeled off the next 3 pretty handily.
Still another good win, and still a very dominating performance.
What a great job this year by Coach Pinder and the team

looking at the stats. it looks like the girls were ticked off pretty when they lost the first game. final scores in games 2-4 were 30-18, 30-23, and 30-18

We were there for the match, and I must tell you, game 1 was not fun to watch. The gym was small with a low ceiling and seemed dark. I don't know if that affected the ladies or not. We did not serve receive well in that game or for the whole night. They led most of game 1, we took a 3 point lead midway through the game, but they just wouldn't let us keep it. The other games were tight up to the middle of each game, then we started getting good long runs. It just seemed tighter than the scores indicated. I was surprised by our offensive stats when coach showed them to me after the match -- it just didn't seem like we were running on all cylinders, but the offensive stats were really great. Reviewing the stats made me review the game in my mind and then I remember some of the great plays. We dug like crazy. Lara made some amazing saves. How about Kallie's triple double. I remember on play where it looked like their middle was going to have an open kill and all of a sudden Kallie was in her face stuffing the shot. Karyl was amazing last night, and Jess had one of the best games I can remember. On to UNC-A. Let's make it 12 wins in a row.

You're a good man Wade! Without your phone calls last night, we would have been in the dark until the wrap-up story.
Please continue your calls today. I will be at the Oregon vs. Arizona State football game in Eugene. Look for me... I will be the only guy wearing Liberty Red!!! (everyone else will be in yellow and green).
Side Note: Kallie called from the team bus as they traveled to UNC-A, and everyone was in good spirits. They are feeling the mojo that comes with hard work, focus, and wins.
