Forward Jen Evans scored 2:33 into overtime, pushing the host High Point Panthers past the Liberty Lady Flames, 1-0, Saturday night in Big South women’s soccer action.
Liberty drops to 1-3 in Big South play and 4-9 overall. High Point moves to 3-1 in conference action and 7-5-2 overall. The contest was Liberty’s first overtime contest of the season. The setback halts a two-game win streak for the Lady Flames.
