A late Liberty rally fell short, as the Lady Flames dropped a 3-2 decision to the Winthrop Eagles, Saturday afternoon in Big South women’s soccer action at Liberty Soccer Field.

The Lady Flames fall to 1-2 in the Big South Conference and 2-8 overall with the setback. The Lady Eagles move to 2-0 in conference play and 3-4-4 overall.
