Let's not lose focus of what these girls are doing. They are playing well and this was the best start since 1996 and they didnt get that by playing cupcakes this was against a very good D-I only start before conf games started. So great job and keep it up. I have the feeling we'll look completely different then what we saw against JMU when we get a healthy KB back.
And how great is it to see Nic step up in some key clutch points with games in the balance and she's just a Frosh!

I agree wholeheartedly. After the past few years we should certainly be celebrating the big steps forward this surprisingly young squad has taken. I'm actually excited for Big South play to get underway.
Thanks for the kudos to Nicki. She is finally starting to play like she has for years. Still room for much improvement to get back into her real playing form. You are absolutely right about the team making big strides this year. We have seen all but 2 games this year and can say that some of those losses were to teams we certainly were capable of beating. No team truly dominated us. That spells good news for the conference play this year.
This years team can bring it in a hurry... a fact that keeps us in games and puts W's on the board (note: William & Mary). We have talent on the court and on the bench. We have coaches and a trainer that are doing a great job with the players. We have girls who bring joy to the gym (and there is great strength in that). We have athletic players jumping out of their shoes. We have skilled players who make the difficult look easy.
I really enjoy watching this team of elite players! I hope they know how good they are... go Liberty Volleyball!!!!!!!
These young ladies are a joy to be around. I am friends with Kallie Corbin and I got to do an interview with Karyl Bacon for Flames Minute during the LU tournament...they are so friendly and personable and funny and I could go on.

I agree...from what I hear Nicki is only around 85% still....thats music to my ears after watching her come up big in clutch situations in the last few games
