We started out like a house on fire in game 1. Nova had trouble getting their offense going, and then we just finished them off. We started out slow in games 2-4 and let Nova get ahead by as much as 11-12 points before kicking it up to the level we can play. We just couldn't get over the hump when we closed the scores to within 1 point. Our biggest trouble in those games looked to be serve receive. We couldn't get our offense going because of ineffective first passes, and when we sent a lackluster 3rd ball over, the rocked us with their offense. As to Karyl's low hitting numbers -- she can't jump on that ankle yet, so coach is using her back row for defense. She is clearly hobbled by it still.
