One thing I don't like is that the photos taken in the Vines Center have a lot of "noise" in them. When it comes to lighting in there, it's not very photographer friendly. There were some great shots I wanted to use, but even after a lot of adjusting in Photoshop, they still didn't have the crispness & look they needed.

That should change starting this year. I randomly happen to know that photography just got a new 70-200mm f/2.8 lens. Their previous 70-200mm lens was only an f/4. They should be able to get a lot more light in their shots now, allowing them to shoot at a lower ISO setting. In other words, less digital noise. Hopefully that'll work out to your benefit.

I had the same thought- was actually amazed that some of you guys got such good shots in that arena. You ought to see the crap (and I mean, CRAP) photos I got on my little Kodac digital during the alumni game last year.

its HORRIBLE for lighting and you can't do anything with a normally-reliable off the shelf special like I have.

Music to my ears....or, uh...eyes......uh, your words.....are..........you know what I mean.

Right now, I have to work on the men's & women's soccer posters. Since they were shot outside, those photos don't have much of a problem.

You should also notice a pretty big difference in the football shots from night games.
