Whatever happened to him? He was the head soccer coach after Dean Dobson. A good friend of mine ended up marrying his daughter (Caroline).

All I know is that he retired about 6 years ago and I think that he started a prison ministry. Bill Bell coached many years advancing the program along to division 1 and really did a great job at the division 1 level with his best team the year before he retired. The only thing that was missing for his teams was postseason and it seems that University of South Alabama had his number even though LU was a better team. I can't figure out why we could not beat those bunch of thugs (they played downright dirty as I remember). Bill's teams won consistently but never reached postseason.

Bill was a terrific coach and gentleman (I loved that accent).

Is he still in Lynchburg?

I believe he went back to Europe
