The 2005-2006 season is the 9th year of Intercollegiate Associates competition. The USL Men's Division Intercollegiate Associates consists of almost 200 collegiate lacrosse clubs in nine conferences across the United States & Canada. The MDIA season concludes with the annual MDIA national championship tournament, scheduled for Dallas, Texas, May 9 - 13th, 2006.

Again you can get additional info at www.uslia.com or on www.selc.org or at www.uslmdia.org ,another site is www.laxpower.com . Liberty was put out of the top 25 but recieved 26 points in the voting. It is way too early to pay attention to this Poll and I know that they will be right back up there. There were four SELC Div B programs in the top 25. Davidson College out of North Carolina at number 9, Appalachian State at 17 out of Western North Carolina, Eckerd College out of Florida at 20 and Emory University out of Atlanta at 24. LU Lax plays both Davidson College and Eckerd College at the end of the season at Williams Stadium at Liberty in Lynchburg. They play Appalachian State this Sunday at App. State in Western North Carolina. I think this Poll is a little bit in favor of the Western Schools in California and the Pacific Northwest programs.

All the best,

a win at #17 App St on Sunday would be pretty big then, not to mention #20 Eckerd and #9 Davidson.

You Guys are dreaming. I would love to see LU beat App. State but it is not going to happen this year. They just don't have the team to beat App. State. Below check out photos of App. State.

Whatever Pete,

Here is a question for you, how can you call yourself and Alumni when you never have anything positive to say about the Lacrosse Team. If you really played in the early 90's you think you would be more supportive. As for your e-mail about the Rocky Mountain Conference. It is only an old score with Pieper that goes back to my USC days when he was an Administator in the SELC.

Anyway you guys are begining to get on my nerves. Get a life! I'm going to be all over you if Liberty beats App. State!

In the Division B Poll I don't think Liberty had any votes. But like Dean said if we can get a win this week and beat App. State we will be on our way and back in the rankings.

Florida State is turning heads in Division A. Florida State has more money in their budget then some NCAA Division 1 Teams like Virginia or Maryland. They have a great deal of private investment and it has some people in the league questioning wheather there should be a financial Cap on what a Team can raise and use for a season. They of any Team from the SELC has a chance to knock off Sonoma State or UCSB or any of those Schools from the WCLL that have been on top of the rankings.
