Natalie represented LU in a very positive way, and I'm so proud of her.

I agree. She was very personable and cracked me up with her response to Alex at the final Jeopardy reveal.

Natalie had a solid first round but made a big risk in Final Jeopardy, got it wrong and did not make the semifinals. :(

According to the Jeopardy! Fan blog, she only answered 14 questions in the first 2 rounds and was first in on just under 20% of buzz-ins. The player from Indiana was first on almost half the questions and got 29 right

Out of those 14, I'd say 12 of them were in the first round. She was leading IIRC after the first round.

She was. The kid from Indiana pulled the same thing tonight, exploding in the second round and getting two of the 3 daily doubles

Ballcoach, usually, Nationals are in-person at a location in the Midwest (we have flown to Chicago and Michigan in the past), but because of COVID, this will be a virtual tournament with our players using laptops and headphones in JFL 361D.

D1 is for players that have been to Nationals before; DII is for players who have never been to Nationals. Once a player goes to Nationals at DII, he must move up to D1 the next year.

Based on the schools liested, I think the producers would be nervous having us embarass all the schools with Manning family ties.

LU has beaten UVA 5 times in Quiz Bowl this year, including a 300-20 win. LU finished 29th at Nationals this year, and UVA, Tech, VCU didn't even go to Nationals.

After finishing 29th at Nationals on April 10th, LU played in its last tournament yesterday and scored 9 more wins, including two wins over the SEC University of Florida Gators: our Senior team (220-50) and our Varsity team (370-85) both beat UFla.

Our last scrimmage of the year will be this Thursday against the LU faculty. Study Then I'll be on the recruiting trail for our new Novice team for fall 2021.

Well, 11 of my players are on either full-tuition or full-ride academic scholarships. I recruit mostly National Merit Finalists who are the top half of the top 1% academically in high school. And 13 of my players have ACTs in the 35-36 range. Study

We went to Nationals this year starting 3 seniors and a graduate student. But I did promote two freshmen to my varsity team this year that helped us beat the Florida Gators 370-85.
