The CUSA era for LU sports got off to a good start today as the Women's soccer team emerged victorious with a 2-1 win against VCU in a game that was supposed to be played last night. All the scoring took place in the first half, and despite VCU's late pressure and our best player giving the ball to VCU in front of the goal in the last 10 seconds, Liberty's defense held strong, ultimately securing the win. Good production from the first year players!

The LU Women's soccer team made a quick two-day turnaround to face Delaware, who were coming off a 1-0 win over ACC member Syracuse. Despite, the short rest, the team looked stronger in this game than the first and came away with a 1-0 win over the Blue Hens. There seems to be some depth to this year's team. We are 2-0 in the CUSA era!

You are correct. Georgia is the #4 overall seed.
