The women acquitted themselves well this year too. They lost two of their top players just before the season started and have been running short-handed all year. They didn’t make a tourney run, but they’ve got a lot to be proud of.

After being matched up against NC State, our men's tennis team won't play a point in the NCAA tournament due to COVID-19 https://www.liberty.edu/flames/index.cf ... &teamID=12

Stupid COVID. Sure no one had symptoms. Feel they could play and just not shake hands and be OK - but that might be the end of the world as we know it.

This is a tough one since tennis is by nature socially distanced. You don’t have to be within 6 ft of anyone to play tennis.

It's more than just playing tennis - its travel, meals, hotels, etc. Yes, NC State can be done in a day and back, but the point is - it's not just playing tennis that factors into this decision. Also, if you're playing doubles, you're getting within 6 feet of your partner quite constantly.
