Liberty's first Top 5 program in history is Field Hockey, after splitting a pair of games with UConn. The 4-0 shutout of the Huskies is not something that happens very often: https://www.liberty.edu/flames/index.cf ... &teamID=18

Not being able to beat UConn has been the monkey on the back of our FH team for years. Way longer than our WBB team has been dealing with FGCU, but similar in ways. It's one game, but it's a great win!

Yep, even before FGCU, our women's bball team seemed unable to beat VA Tech for years, despite beating UVA and other big names. It is nice to see our teams conquer that one team that always seemed to have our number, especially UConn field hockey, as they are one of the best programs in the nation.

Now, go find another team you can’t seem to beat. Always be chasing higher.

Except in football...just try and get to the Cure Bowl and be happy

Lost 2 to 1 to ODU yesterday but have a chance to bounce back against them with another game at 2pm today. Too far to drive but will try to catch the home game next Saturday!
Bounced back to beat ODU 4-2. Went ahead 2-0 early in the game. Player said Friday's game was a lot nastier with many cards. I think this game only had 1 card.
Stick work really impressive at times. Beginning to like this game more and more.
Our ladies just beat St. Josephs 2-0 to advance to the Elite 8 against #1 Rutgers. Lest anyone think we will be outmatched, the St. Josephs team we just defeated beat Rutgers earlier this season, and our conference rival UConn took them to 2 OTs before losing. Win this one and I don't think it's at all premature to talk about a possible Natty.
