Historically we recruit Houston heavily in hoops, football and once upon a time even baseball. But this may be the first volleyball recruit I can remember us landing from the Bayou City.

5'11"? She better have a sledgehammer for a hitting arm because she might have trouble with the taller blockers at the D1 level

BJ, I generally follow private and parochial high school athletics here in Texas, but didn't get out to see the teams in the league that she plays in.

Sly Fox, the volleyball schedule just released today brings the team to Texas twice -- Rice on August 31 and September 1 and SMU two weeks later.

I love me some LU visits in Houston regardless of sport. I get back in country on the 1st and will try to make that one.
