Seems like a very mediocre season so far. We lose to the good teams and we even struggle to beat bad Big South teams like Campbell and Chuck South. Not looking good so far.

Last season got derailed by injuries to key people late in the season, and then there were a couple transfers over the summer so we're in a bit of a rebuilding mode at this point. So far we are still 2nd in the Big South, which is good.

ATrain's right. Our starting setter from last year is out West, one of our rotation players followed Coach Rudnick to Morgantown, and three players are in school but not playing this year. To be where we are (despite getting swept by CCU on Saturday is pretty good. Now we have 6 matches left, including defending champ Radford at home and High Point for our final home set of the year. We still have a chance at a very good seed and another crack at CCU in the tournament
