Winthrop on Friday, Gardner-Webb on Sunday. If we beat Winthrop, there is a possibility of being the #1 overall seed going into the tournament as Coastal has yet to play either Winthrop or Charleston Southern. IF we beat WU and GWU and CCU loses to both WU and CSU, we're the #1 seed.

If Coastal beats Winthrop but loses to Charleston Southern and we beat Winthrop, it is a true clusterf**k as the top 3 teams will have tied for 1st with one win each over the other and having defeated all the other teams.

Our women's tennis team has not beaten Winthrop in 19 tries.

GO LADY FLAMES!!!!

Ladies fall 5-2 :-( Close matches, but couldn't get it done today. The good news, Winthrop is not a runaway favorite like in years past. 4 teams legitimately have a shot at the title this year.

Winthrop fell 5-2 to Coastal.

IF Coastal beats Charleston Southern, Coastal gets the regular season title outright and its a 3-way tie for second happens between us, CSU and Winthrop. CSU beat Winthrop but lost to us. Winthrop beat us but lost to CSU. We beat CSU but lost to Winthrop. All schools will have lost to Coastal in that scenario, and all schools will have beaten the rest of the teams belowhand. I do not envy the one who has to figure out the tiebreaker in that scenario.

IF Charleston Southern beats Coastal, that puts us as the fourth seed for the tournament. CSU will be #1 by virtue of their head-to-head w/ Coastal. Coastal will be number 2. Winthrop will be number 3 by virtue of their head-to-head with us, and we'll be 4th.
