Rigney national champ, team reaps six top-five finishes in Pa.
March 8, 2015 | Lancaster, Pa.

Though more adept at outdoor 3D bowhunting, Liberty University's archery team demonstrated incredible accuracy in its section of the 45th annual United States Collegiate Archery (USCA) Indoor National Championships, held Saturday and Sunday at the Lancaster (Pa.) Archery Supply's indoor range.

Out of more than 2,000 competitors from 16 sectional events around the country, Flames junior Ian Rigney captured national indoor champion honors in the men's bowhunter division by hitting the bull's-eye nearly 99 percent of the time in the two-day competition.

Men's Bowhunter:
Ian Rigney - 1st
Chris Britton - 2nd
Jason Lynch - 3rd
Zach King - 5th

Men's Compound:
Hunter Jacobs - 3rd

Women's Bowhunter:

Deanne House-Knecht - 2nd
