Liberty's Tim Harbison scored twice in the first half, while three different Flames netted goals in the second half, en route to a 5-0 win over VMI, Tuesday afternoon at Patchin Field.

Yet another reason why VMI is happy to out of our league.

Anxious to see what our boys can do this season against stiffer competition.

which is interesting since they seem to be of the mindset that the SoCon is a better conference and that the increased level of competition will enable them to strengthen their programs.

they may well be correct- I don't follow SoCon sports as a whole- but FB sure doesnt seem like a step up from the BSOUTH
