In today's News & Advance (part 2 coming tomorrow). Here's one of about a dozen questions that were asked:
A Q&A with Liberty AD Jeff Barber: On football and baseball

N&A: Is baseball the program at Liberty that has the potential to have the most national impact? It’s a high profile sport and getting to Omaha seems like a more realistic prospect than reaching the Final Four in men’s basketball.

JB: I think that’s probably fair. Our golf team operates at that level, but it’s not as visible. That’s a sport we can do it quicker in than say, football or basketball.

My favorite quote from the interview, regarding the football schedule: "We'll have one D2 game this year, AND THAT WILL BE THE LAST ONE WE SCHEDULE" Vamos a ver.

Great job, Chris. Both were really good reads.

Agreed. I love having a plugged in beat writer who asks the questions the fanbase really wants asked.

The most interesting aspect for me came in the first part. It is very clear to me based on the responses that we won't be suing our way into FBS anytime soon. Not that I expected it to happen, but it was clear by the responses that it is not on our radar like some have suggested.
