PH...we didn't ALMOST win this one...now if we finished SECOND you could make that joke...anyway, this was a rough year on the field of competition. Coastal won in two sports (football and softball), one of which we struggled in (softball) under a first year head coach. Baseball's contribution was muted by the fact that we were ousted in the semifinals, and an area where we typically dominate (cross country/track and field), they swept the women's side.

Lets not forget that we failed to take home regular season and tourney titles in two sports that we are typically the perennial powerhouse: volleyball and women's basketball.
