this caught my attention: http://www.liberty.edu/flames/index.cfm ... um=twitter

was not aware DB was working for LFSN now- maybe our regular field reporters were on assignment?

also, I guess logistically it had to be scheduled now but how do you do a sports award banquet in the middle of the spring season? :dontgetit

EDIT: evidently spring sports awards were based on the 2013 season

Hmmmmm. Spring sports awards are supposed to be based on 2013, but Ryan Seiz wins the "breakthrough athlete" award. He redshirted in 2013. I understand it's not technically a Spring sport award, but it was obviously based on what he did this Spring. Not very consistent.

And Ashton Perrett wins the "best finish" award for his game winning hit and save against Campbell in the 2013 BSC championship game. 2 baseball players win all-seasons awards for performances in 2 DIFFERENT seasons.
