FlamesNation POY 2013 Top 3

Introducing the inaugural FlamesNation Player of the Year award! This award will be voted on by you, FlamesNation, as we seek to award the most outstanding Liberty University Athlete from the calendar year 2013. Below you will find the top 3 candidates which were voted on by you as we narrowed the field from 10 to 3. Voting runs now through December 31st at which time we will announce the winner.

You can vote multiple ways: by voting here, by voting in our poll at LibertyFlamesNation.com, by leaving a comment on our post on FlamesNation, or by mentioning @Flames_Nation on twitter with the hashtag #FlamesNationPOY and your selection. So, you can vote up to 4 times.

First off, congrats to Trey. He had a heck of a Big South and NCAA tournament. Secondly, it is sad only 9 people voted. Lastly, Natalie Barr should have won. I would not be surprised if the women's field hockey team explodes in the next few years. This is probably the fastest growing sport in regards to talent and national success.

Trey did not win. These are only the votes that were tallied on flame fans. Jacob won the overall vote. It's on flamesnation.

And we had nearly 300 votes for the final 3 including the 9 measly votes on here. Had almost 400 for the top 10.
