SWIMMING: Warde's Pond headed to Liberty University

FAIRFIELD -- Chelsea Pond always knew she wanted to swim at the Division 1 level, it was just finding the right fit. That decision in the end was also an easy one. A visit to the campus of Liberty University (Lynchburg, Va.) in late September and spending time with her future teammates sealed the deal.

“I’m happy with my decision and the school,” Pond said. “I really just felt at home on campus and I really liked the school.”
