What the heck happened to vball this year?

We were without Douglas for most of the season due to a stress fracture and we had Babcock try to fill her spot, Craycraft split time with Stapleton while they tried to find a combination that worked without her, with minimal success. the team actually really came on strong after she (Douglas) came back and Craycraft became the regular setter again. McQuitery has played all year and could be a major player for the next 3 years once she develops some chemistry with Stapleton or whoever the starting setter is in 2014 (Pinder signed two setters, Rachel Morris and Anna Willey). We have a couple more big swingers in Vorster and Weidner coming in as well.

Liberty defeats UNC-Asheville 3-1 (25-19, 17-25, 25-22, 25-21) in the quarterfinals, Caroline Douglas led the way with 17 kills, Jade Craycraft finished with 43 assists and Nzea McQuitery finished with 7 blocks to lead the way. Next up in #1 seed Radford tomorrow at 4:30 PM. Liberty holds a 4-1 record vs. Radford in Big South tournament matches, including I believe the last two (maybe three) meetings.

Radford is very talented. They will have their whole team/starting lineup back next year. We made too many passing errors especially in those last 2 sets. They were attacking the net and spiking most everything while we were bumping over the net too often.
